She is a MA student of Linguistics and a student assistant at the lab. Her main research interest lies in the area of Experimental Phonetics with a focus of perception of attractivity amongst different patterns of rhythm within a stress timed and syllable timed languages. She aims to explore the perceptual preferences of listeners concerning speech rhythm and investigate the so-called "averaging effect" within this domain. With her main responsibility being supporting the ViTraLiP project, a joint teaching project with the University of Paris, funded by the DAAD in the lab, she is working to branch out her interest within the Phonetics field and its connection to the field of Cognitive Linguistics.
