Opencast

With Opencast, you can upload videos to ILIAS that course participants can watch in the browser. For example, lectures or a recorded PowerPoint could be uploaded here, which can then be accessed at any time.

First you have to create a new object/tool "Opencast" via the ILIAS page of your course.

You must then provide this with a name and description. You can leave the licence for this on the pre-selected one.

You can upload video recordings (for example of a recorded PowerPoint) here.

Note that only certain file formats are supported.

After a short wait, the video is uploaded. Hooray!
