I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Cologne and University Hospital Cologne, where I investigate the neural basis of speech impairments in Parkinson's disease using speech acoustics and structural neuroimaging. My current research broadly focuses on the effects of levodopa and deep brain stimulation on speech function in individuals with Parkinson's disease, as well as on developing reliable and efficient approaches to assess speech in clinical settings. Previously, I investigated the acoustic and kinematic speech outcomes of individuals treated for oral cancer.
