Directions

From the central/main station the phonetics department can be reached as follows:

• Light rail lines 16 or 18 (towards Bonn) until Neumarkt
• Above ground with line 1 (towards Junkersdorf or Weiden West) or line 7 (towards Frechen) until Universitätsstraße
• Follow Aachener Straße for about 200 m along the same direction as the train you just exited
• Turn left onto Richard-Strauß-Straße, cross the Clarenbachkanal and go on to Herbert-Lewin-Straße
• Take the foot path on the right before the Herbert-Lewin-Haus
  The building number 212 is on a sign at the right of the path
• The entrance of the phonetics department is on the ground floor, the door on the right just behind the stairs on the left

Alternatively from Neumarkt:

• Bus linie 136 (towards Hohenlind) or 146 (towards Deckstein) until Hildegardis-Krankenhaus
• Follow the street along the same direction as the bus you were on
• Turn right onto Classen-Kappelmann-Straße
• Turn right onto Dürener Straße
• After about 150 meters turn left on to Herbert-Lewin-Straße
• After about 120 meters turn left on the foot path described above
