  • European Summer School in Linguistic Typology

    From September 4 to 17, 2016, the "European Summer School in Linguistic Typology" takes place in Porquerolles (France) with the co-operation of the Cologne Department of Linguistics. For further information please look here.

  • Transition to new study regulations: information sessions

    During semester break BA-students of all disciplines at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities have the opportunity to participate in further information sessions on the transition to new study regulations:

     

    • Wednesday, August 10th 2016: 3-5 pm, lecture hall C (Hörsaalgebäude)
    • Wednesday, September 7th 2016: 3-5 pm, lecture hall C (Hörsaalgebäude)

  • Compulsory Advisory Session

    The compulsory advisory session ('Erstsemesterberatung') for the BA Linguistics and Phonetics will be held on Thursday 10/13/2016 in auditorium XVIII in the main building. The main topics will be structure and content of the basic modules ('Basismodule'). At the end you are going to receive a certificate of attendance which will be a prerequisition for the attendance of certain lectures in the course of your studies.

  • a.r.t.e.s. Research Master Program

    The a.r.t.e.s. Graduate School for the Humanities Cologne advertizes 30 positions in the Research Master programme for the winter term 2016/17. The program targets highly motivated students who wish to do research and prepare for a subsequent doctorate already during their Master phase. Further information.

    Applications for a transition to the new study regulations are to be directed at the examination office of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.   • Borrowing equipment
